High Speed Autocross
1 minute readHigh Speed Autocross
High speed autocross is a time trial event held on a road course race track and involves much higher speeds than a parking lot autocross. One driver at a time makes one lap of the race track as quickly as they can, testing their skill against the clock. Afterward, your times are compared to others in your class (a group of cars with similar performance levels) to see what place you came in. Awards are typically handed out to the winners and placers. The events will run rain or shine unless the weather is severe.
High speed autocross events are sanctioned by Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs and are typically held on the same weekends as the wheel to wheel events.
